A woman from the region who had been missing for two weeks has been found.

Alexandra McGuinness, age 42, has been found safe after being reported missing in Albany on Wednesday, June 28.

Alexandra McGuinness, age 42, of Albany, had last been seen Wednesday, June 28, in Albany, near Grove and Helderberg avenues, according to Albany Police.

On Friday, July 14, police announced that McGuinness and her dog had been found in New York City and were both in good health.

No other information was provided.

McGuinness is described as 5-feet-6-inches tall and approximately 115 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray coat, blue jeans, and white shoes.

Albany Police said investigators are concerned for her safety.
